cc 14 lost today to harrison or west side thunder. whoever it doesnt matter we played bad and they should have won. bt maybe we should have practiced more, good one. its the younger kids that it effects people As the Father of two Daughters, and someone who has had a hand in Coaching Girls Athletics, I doubt it ruined their weekend. They were probably more concerned about the Text message they missed, or where the sleepover was that night. Kids are pretty tough, and the rebound quickly. It's the Parents who have the issues.......

I hope that you are not involving your players in this slander... these young girls may end up on a team together one day and will probably play each other for years to come... their competition should be kept as FRIENDLY and untainted by the comments that you have made. It's bad enough that this is between the coaches, let alone the girls.
I think Tracy made the correct statement when she said that this would have never been an issue if you would have won the game.

Tracey:
I appreciate your post and I am sure Les wishes he would not have played. He was asked several times to play and he should have said no. Some of the posts were out of anger and it’s been long enough to let that go so we can all discuss things in the proper way.
I started the Static to give girls from all over the tri-state the option to play at a higher level against the best competition out there. We are not really looking to play Rec. ball they just so happened to get into this tournament and play up. My 14u team took a lot of lumps last year and we played the very best teams around. Needless to say we did not win many trophies but I do believe every girl on our team got better.
I understand all the concerns that have been mentioned, our 10u team will be challenged quit a bit this season.
They will play arguable the best 10u team in the state several times this year and they will sure have their hands full playing them. We play teams like that in hopes that are girls learn and get better by playing better competition.
We are an organization that tries to teach our girls about all aspects of the game.
We all as coaches need to show good sportsmanship here so I think everyone has had a fair shot to voice concerns and we appreciate all the traffic on our site.
The Static organization wishes your team and all the CC teams the best of luck this coming season and again thanks for the post.
Thanks Rob Epling Cincy Static

I just wanted to respond to the parent with a problem with Static winning the C.C. tournament because the are a select team. I'm sure your directors new very well they were a select team they didn't try to hide it or they would have come to the tournament as Harrison Rec team. One thing I can tell u as a parent on this team they do practice 1 day a week and play at Pastime 1 day if that adds up to 4-5 days a week by your standards I'm sorry. My daughter does practice 4 or 5 days because her dad works with her so what your saying is that the only one responsible for your daughters development is her coach thats a pretty tall order for one person don't you think. And as far as your child being crushed from this experience that is your fault as a parent. My daughter plays hard on the field and when she walks off the field win or lose she is fine its over. Most of the time its the parents that have the problem not the kids they generally don't dwell on that stuff. I'm very sorry u are that kind of parent Kim
